Keeping to my vow, this post is the first of many review/finding my staple products.
Im on a quest to find my perfect moisturising deep conditioner. Like many I have products lying around that I need to use up, so I thought why not do a little mixture of my dc's to see how my hair responds.

Hair Confessions
This post is more like a hair rant. I was sort of in denial when it came to my hair. I expect to reach these long lengths but I have realised I haven't been putting in the work. One of my big problems is consistency. I start off vowing im going to do something, then several weeks down the line I stop. For example, I said to myself every time I add a product to my hair I am going to document how my hair responds so I will eventually get a list of my staple products, I have yet to keep this up.
This is a wakeup call to myself and other ladies like me.
Now a good way for me to document the products I use is to do reviews. This will give me the opportunity to share my experience with products, but it also serves as a hair diary, so I can always come back and check the products I had good results with to finally get me some staple products!
Another thing I have learnt is not to discourage myself if something works for someone but when I try it I get the totally opposite result. Everyone's hair is different!
That's enough of my rant :),
Take care x

IF YOU DON'T PUT THE EFFORT IN, HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO REACH YOUR GOALS?!?!?!?

Nike Training App
Monday, 22 August 2011
Like many I'm so lazy when it comes to exercise. I want the fabulous body but I don't want to put work in to achieve it.
You will recall in my last post, where I spoke about working on my all round health to help me reach my goal. Well today I made a little start to this with a little help from my iPhone and did a workout from the Nike Training App.

How I Plan To Reach My Hair Goal
Saturday, 20 August 2011
Currently I am at armpit length. I set myself a goal to reach bra strap length at the end of this year when I end my 6 month stretch, I think this goal I've set for myself is realistic. I'm also going to be carrying out some new additions to my help me reach this goal.
My First Rollerset!
I've always wanted to try rollersets, but i've never got round to doing one. I have all the utensils to rollerset so I thought lets give it a go! I've seen so many rollerset tutorials, and seen the amazing results some women get so of course I had some high expectations.
My Sulphur Oil Mix
Wednesday, 10 August 2011
Sublimed sulphur has many uses when applied to the scalp, it is known to relieve itchy/irritable scalps and it also promotes growth. I personally use the sulphur for it's properties to promote hair growth. If you want to implement sulphur oil into your regimen you need to make sure your mixture contains only 10% (a teaspoon of sublimed sulphur and 8oz of oil) or less of sulphur, as anything above can lead to side effects such as headaches.

The Protein/Moisture Battle Balance
Saturday, 6 August 2011
When the balance of protein and moisture isn't equal, it can result in breakage. I've always struggled to maintain this balance in my hair and as a consequence I do experience minor breakage.
I did the wet assessment test (if you are unaware of this test click here) and the results told me i need to up my moisture game!
So now I am co-washing every other day and deep conditioning 2x a week.
A challenge I face in my hair journey is finding a good moisturiser, my hair always feel soft and moisturised when i co-wash as opposed to using a daily moisturiser and sealing so maybe il scrap moisturising daily and just co-wash more frequently? Hmm... I'll keep you updated.
