Relaxer Prepping

So I decided to relax my hair next week in prepartion for my birthday! After that the next time I think I will relax will be the end of the year.

Usually the week before I relax my hair I would use aphogee 2 step protein treatment, to my surprise I  couldn't find this product in my stash.

So I was looking for an alternative and seen the affirm fortying treatment that I use when I get my relaxer.

and the things that stuck out to me on the bottle was the mentioning of...

Thoughts?
This product is extremely sticky!
 I had to look at the bottle again to make sure I wasn't using shampoo lol, I'm a little confused as to whether this conditioner provided my hair with slip? I think it did, but the sticky texture just put me off.

I went under the dryer for 30 minutes, the instructions say to leave on for 30 minutes with or without heat.

Verdict?
After letting my hair cool down, I rinsed out the product tshirt dried for 5 mins just to soak up the excess water and I noticed my hair felt smooth and my new growth was very easy to part (parting my new growth is something that requires a little effort when my hair is dry).

I'm on the verge of liking this product, but I will definitely give this another try to see if I can replicate these favourable results.
